Wix Filters Mean Quality

Racers Want The Best
If you put a lot of miles on your vehicle every month and you plan on keeping that vehicle for many years, ‘cause you like the vehicle and you don’t like making payments every year, year after year after year, ‘cause you want to pay for it and be done and then keep on driving it. Like I said, you like the vehicle and you don’t want to trade it in on anything else. Period, end of subject.
Wix Filters racing roots go way back and racers want products that work way above average, because they are going to demand a lot from their machines when their racing to win. Having raced for a few years on two wheels, in my youth of the 60’s, and the spirit of competition means a continuous hunt for the best parts and pieces you can afford.
While more than 50 years have passed since I hung up my leathers, the desire to give your machine a little something extra when you can, is still in there. When looking for little upgrades for my pickup truck, I ran across information saying I could go to a larger size oil filter, than the one that came stock on my truck, and I was interested.
Started researching how and where they make oil filters and feedback from actual users. Was more interesting than I expected. Price had never been a controlling factor to any degree when buying oil filters for whatever vehicle I was servicing. I wanted a product that did a very good job. That was the controlling factor in choosing brands of filters.
When picking up lumber and supplies in the truck the other day, for a new work bench for The BladeKeeper®’s in the bench press area. This is for installing the solid brass rivets we use making The BladeKeeper®, and I mentioned to the Mrs. it would be oil change time again pretty soon and time to pick up a new Wix filter. We still have to go to a parts store to get our Wix filters, not at the big box store, but as long as the parts stores keep them in stock, it just fine. Worth the special trip.
Found this racing information telling of Wix long history being involved with racing. While I am a long time “accidental NASCAR fan”, I picked the oil filter I use because of Quality and it offered a larger size filter. Wix supporting racing just made me feel that much better about the product and company. Thanks for supporting racing at “all levels” Wix, and wishing your company many, many, more decades of success.
